Overview

Mr. Ikua is a Partner and Founder of the Law Firm seasoned in practice. Mr. Ikua is the head of the Litigation department within the firm.

He is an Advocate of the High Court at the Firm and a Graduate of Kenyatta University with keen interest in Litigation, Corporate Governance, Conveyancing and Real Estate transactions, Debt Recoveries, Private Public Partnerships, Constitutional and Commercial Law.

Mr. Ikua is also keen on public interest litigation and undertakes to carry out pro bono briefs every calendar year. As Partner in a founding partner of the Firm, he has strong moral and ethical values and never compromises on integrity. He also enjoys participating in corporate social events and annually undertakes charitable donations.

Mr. Ikua has represented Multiple Chargors and Borrowers against irregular exercise of the statutory power of sale and / or exercise of statutory powers of the Chargee by several banks and successfully defended multiple insolvency Petitions against several companies in distress.

Mr. Ikua has proved to be a seasoned practitioner in the Insurance sector having represented multiple clients; both local and International in Insurance matters ranging from defending multi-million insurance claims and offering legal advisory services on several facets of local and International insurance law.

Given his passion for defending human rights, he has also had the chance to represent multiple clients in the Constitutional Court on multiple occasions including but not limited to successfully representing Kandara Residence Association; a community based organization in defending their historical land rights against a multinational corporate organization which is seeking continued occupation of the Community’s historical land.

In conjunction with the firm of Okatch and Partners Advocates, Mr. Ikua has successfully challenged the termination of employment of Nairobi City County Assembly employees by the Nairobi County Assembly Service Board wherein the firm successfully obtained Judgment in favor of the Nairobi City County Assembly employees.
